![]() ![]() Thank you for making this trip so special.…īocas Bali is simply paradise. Francisco even brought his guitar to play for my husband for his birthday, which was such a treat. Staff always went out of their way to be kind to us. I never once felt like I was missing out. Most of the menu items were already gluten free or the chef was able to accommodate me. Also, I’m gluten free and all staff were aware so I never had to ask. Even staff we hadn’t met! Our room was decorated with balloons and a sign and they made him a strawberry shortcake for dessert. On the day of my husband’s actual birthday every staff that walked by would with him a happy birthday. You have snorkeling gear and while you are exploring the water, the fisherman finds you dinner! He caught (with his hands and a long stake) a lobster and a crab that the chef then prepared for us for dinner! We also went on the sunset dolphin cruse and saw 2 small dolphins in the calm sea. You leave on a boat with a captain/fisherman. ![]() It wasn’t on their menu but I’d seen a post about it and asked when we arrived and they were able to make it happen. It was fun to watch the plankton glow in the water. I didn’t think I could love something more than the villa, but this was equally amazing. Upstairs is an open and covered living space area with a sink, table, desk, mini fridge, and coachees/chairs. There is an outside private shower and copper tub, which was my favorite part. The main level has a bedroom and a separate area for the toilet, sink, and closet area. The second 2 days we stayed in one of the tree houses and wow, what an incredible experience as well. ![]() Whatever you need/want, they with provide for you. The room is spacious and gorgeous stocked with snacks, drinks, bathrobes, snorkeling gear, umbrellas, and a tablet so you can communicate with staff. We stayed in a villa with a plunge Pool the first two night’s and it was incredible. Our room wasn’t ready once we arrived, so we walked around the resort checking out the beach bar. Once at the resort, we were given a cool cloth and brought into the resort for lunch and their welcome cocktail. We were provided cold drinks on the boat ride (water, beer, sparkling wine). We then drove 5 minutes to where a private boat took us to their private island. Upon arrival at the airport a driver meet us and took our luggage. I planned a trip for my husbands 50th to Nayara Bocas Del Toro and we both were swept away. Donkieskraal Guest Lodge & Private Game Reserve. ![]()
